Across the four nations, communities are building their new democracy with People's Charters – a list of demands and actions for how they want our politics to work.
Sports clubs, food banks, faith groups, residents associations – local community groups shaping politics from the neighbourhood to the national.
Now is the time. Democracy and our freedoms are under threat. People are getting involved in the biggest political project of a generation because they know we cannot wait: we must change how democracy works and who it works for.

Join 100s of communities across the UK writing their People's Charter: a set of demands for changes to local and national politics.
We'll bring our local People's Charters together and hold four National Conventions to build People's Charters for England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Our alliance of political leaders will carry the demands into their parties and Parliament. But we won't wait for the system to change, hundreds of communities will bring people-powered democracy to life in their neighbourhoods.
